Deadline for UP DElEd 2024 Registration Extended

The registration period for the 2024 Diploma in Elementary Education (UP DElEd) program has been extended to October 22 by the Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority. September 9 was the original deadline. On October 25, candidates can print their application forms; the application cost must be paid by October 23.

Candidates can use updeled.gov.in, the official website, to finish the registration process. The application process requires candidates to complete the form, upload the required files, and pay a cost that differs depending on their category (Rs 700 for General/OBC, Rs 500 for SC/ST, and Rs 200 for PwD candidates).

Step 1: Login into updeled.gov.in, the official website.
Step 2: Select "candidate service" from the main tab on the homepage.
Step 3: Select the "UPDElEd Registration" link, which is the first one.
Step 4: Complete the application and send in the required funds.
Step 5: Download and save the application form for future reference.

In order to be eligible for the exam applicants must have finished their bachelor's degree and be between the ages of 18 and 35. An entrance exam is part of the selection procedure, which is then followed by counseling and document verification.

The purpose of the test is to assess applicants who want to work as primary school teachers. The test consists of both theoretical and practical components and is broken up into four semesters spread over two years. There are four semesters in the DElEd curriculum. Specific topics pertaining to pedagogy, child development, and teaching methodology are covered every semester.
