Delhi University has extended its deadline for CSAS Portal Phase 2 to August 9, 2024
Delhi University has extended the deadline for Common Seat Allocation System(CSAS) Phase 2 till August 9, 2024, as per the latest notice. Candidates can now fill in their college and undergraduate course preference list based on their scores and interests through the official website.
Previously, the last day to submit the list was 7 August 2024 at 11:59 PM, later in the noon an official press release stated” The last date for filling the preference for program +college combinations has been extended to Friday, August 9. Candidates who have completed Phase 1 must log in to their dashboard to complete Phase 2.”
The CSAS is divided into 3 phases. The first phase was to apply to the University of Delhi. Here candidates registered and uploaded the required documents. The second phase is to curate a list of preferences for college and courses. The last phase is allocation-cum-admission phase, in this phase based on their preference list and Common University Entrance Test(CUET) score candidates will be allotted a course and college.
In addition, the press release mentioned the allocations of quotas such as Children/Widows of personnel of the Armed Forces(CW), extra-curricular activities (EC), Prime Minster’s Special Scholarship Scheme(PMS), Sikkim nominee and the University of Delhi ward quote will take place in the third round of seat allocation. The schedule for the same is yet to be released.
The stimulated ranks will be displayed on August 11, 2024.
This year Delhi University received over 3 lakh applications till now, for 71,000 undergraduate seats available a senior official of the University of Delhi told.
As per the notice, the session 2024-2025 is scheduled to begin on August 29, 2024.
