CUET: Use these 5 strategies to ace the test

Every year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), a nationally recognised entrance exam. Its main function is to act as a doorway for admission to the several undergraduate programs that central universities like DU, JNU, BHU, AMU, and others offer. It provides access to more than 250 partner universities, 44 of which are core universities.

1. Examine summaries rather than whole notes: The night before the test, go over your mind maps or summaries of each topic's notes. Organising your notes into bullet points is a quick and easy method to examine the material and jog your memory. An additional technique to study the night before the test is to vocally respond to the previous year's exam questions.

2. Carefully read the instructions: To start with, get to the exam location early to avoid any last-minute rush. Spend some time carefully reading through all of the instructions before starting the questions. Once you get the rules for each part, go ahead and answer the questions. This will assist you in avoiding careless errors.

3. Start with the English language portion: A significant chunk of the CUET exam is dedicated to the English language segment. As a result, begin with this part and increase your pace as you move through the test.

4. Use your time wisely: Pace yourself based on the amount of time allocated for each section, keeping track of it. Don't take too long answering difficult queries. Instead, start with the simpler questions then, if time allows, go back to the more challenging ones.

5. Verify your responses twice: If time is limited, go back and check your responses rather than attempting to answer every question at once. Providing quality answers rather than providing quantity can have a significant impact on your final grade.
