CUET UG 2024: Registration Deadline Extended, Details Inside

With the application window now open until April 5, interested individuals can submit their applications on the official website. This move comes after appeals from applicants and other stakeholders, prompting UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar to further extend the registration period. CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in a hybrid mode from May 15 to May 31 at various exam centers across the country.

Initially set for March 26, the deadline for application submission was extended to March 31. However, recognizing the need for additional time, the deadline has been pushed to April 5. This extension aims to accommodate candidates who require more time to complete their applications and ensure that a diverse pool of students can participate in the entrance test.

The application process entails specific fees based on the category of the candidate. General category students are required to pay ₹400 per subject or ₹1,000 for up to three subjects. OBC-NCL/EWS students have an obligation to pay ₹375 per subject or ₹900 for up to three subjects. Similarly, candidates from SC/ST/PwBD/third gender categories need to pay ₹350 per subject or ₹800 for up to three subjects.

It's noteworthy that CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages, offering candidates the flexibility to choose the language they are most comfortable with. These languages include English, Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Punjabi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Assamese, Kannada, Odia, and Urdu, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for students from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

The announcement also includes details about the declaration of results, scheduled for June 30. Candidates can access their results using their registration number and date of birth.
