CBSE issues notice for 100% completion of Class 9 and 11 registration, stating no excuses will be entertained after the deadline.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important notice, it is regarding the registration of students in Classes 9 and 11. As per the notice, the registration for class 9 and 11 are at present going on. The last date to register is October 16,2024. Therefore, the schools are directed, the registration are completed on time.

The notice reads ‘The schools are directed to ensure that the registration of 100% of students of classes IX and XI studying in their schools is done. No student remained unregistered.’

In addition, the notice also states, CBSE has decided that from the coming year when LOC is filled, no registration of any student will be done through Board.

CBSE mentioned that is has come to their notice that some schools informed them that a few of their students were left out of registration in the previous year due to the following reasons:

The student was not well and was hospitalized

The clerk has mistakenly left the student

 Technical error

 Name was deleted

 The student was not at the station and more

As per the official notice, it states that such mistakes are not expected from the schools and will be viewed seriously.

The students of class 9 are required to pay a registration fee of Rs300, while class 11 students are required to pay Rs 600. If registration could not be completed by the deadline, a late fee of Rs 2,300 will be charged. The last date to submit the late fee is October 24. All fees must be paid online as specified by CBSE; offline payments or direct bank deposits will not be accepted.
