BSEB STET, DElEd 2023-25: Bihar Board Postpones June 18 Exam, New Date to Be Announced Soon

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has postponed the Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) 2023-25 exam and Paper 2 of the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET), both initially scheduled for June 18. The deferral comes in light of Bakrid, observed on June 17.

Originally, the DElEd exams were set to take place from June 18 to June 25. Exams from June 19 onwards will proceed as planned.

“In view of Bakrid on June 17, 2024, the first day of the D.El.Ed. exam, which was to be held on June 18, 2024, has been postponed by the committee in the interest of the candidates. Information regarding the rescheduled date will be provided later,” an official statement noted.

“Paper-II (Class 11-12) under STET 2024, scheduled for June 18, 2024, has also been postponed,” the statement added.

The STET Bihar board exam includes two papers: Paper 1 for recruiting secondary school teachers and Paper 2 for recruiting senior secondary teachers.
