BHU and IIT-BHU sign a MoU to share lab and library facilities

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) collaborate. The two institutes have entered an agreement. As per the agreement, the two institutes will share laboratory and library facilities to increase innovation and fruitful research. They have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the same.The collaboration will also promote further joint research projects.

The Vice-chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain empasised on this collaboration, he stated the agreement can help the Institutes get global recognition. Adding to which he mentioned working in isolation hinders progress and thus educational institutions should join forces to explore shared developmental opportunities.

The Vice-Chancellor also highlighted the importance for universities to cultivate a positive work culture and Governance while meeting aspirations at the same time. He also stressed that education should instill a sense of purpose and motivation, with institutions providing the tools and capabilities to achieve these goals.

He shared key tips for engineering students to succeed long-term, he told the following points,
maintaining a positive mindset, practicing sincerity, engaging in teamwork, managing time effectively, and developing life skills.

The MoUs were signed by BHU Registrar Prof. Arun Kumar Singh, and IIT-BHU Registrar Shri Rajan Srivastava, at Swatantrata Bhawan, as Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain and Director, IIT-BHU, Prof. Amit Patra exchanged the agreements.
The ceremony was attended by students along with faculty members and other dignitaries.

The goal is advance learning and researchers with the collaboration and look forward to innovations.

BHU is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. The creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya, in 1916, through close cooperation with great personalities like Dr Annie Besant, who viewed it as the University of India. Banaras Hindu University was established by the Parliamentary legislation.
