Ashoka University records 98% placement in 2023-24, highest salary is Rs 35 LPA

Ashoka University has recorded 98% placement on-campus placement drive for the year 2023-2024.The university stated the average package offered to the student is Rs10.7 Lakh per annum.

A total of 355 students took part in the on-campus placement. Participations were from the undergraduate course, Ashoka Scholar’s Programme, Young India Fellowship and post-graduate programme students.

As per the University, around 47 per cent students were also provided with the financial aid, so they could pursue the education from university.

The maximum number of offers were received from the consulting sector, followed by EdTech or education, BSFI, Development, Media and Advertisement, FMGC and consumer goods. The highest salary offered in Development Sector was Rs 20 lakh

Consulting Sector: 18 per cent

Education Sector: 16 percent

BFSI: 15 per cent

Development: 14 per cent

Media and Advertising: 9 per cent

FMGC and Consumer Goods: 7 per cent

The top organizations were McKinsey& Company ,Deloitte, Hindustan Unilever Limited , Accenture, Genpact,Flipkart, HSBC,Axis Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank, Adobe and Michael Page.”

The Vice Chancellor of Ashoka University, Somak Raychoudhary stated “Another excellent year of on-campus placements at Ashoka, including in a wide-array of sectors, is testament to the university’s emphasis on multi-disciplinary and inclusive education. It reflects the ability of our students who are well-equipped with 21st century skills such as problem solving, creativity and communication,”

Adding to which he said “We hope that these young leaders continue to make their mark, contribute meaningfully to the society and nation.”

Ashoka University is a private research university, located near the capital region. It was established in 2007; it offers education in Humanities and Social Sciences.
