APTET Admit card released

The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh has released the APTET (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) admit cards. Candidates registered for this exam can now download their admit cards.

Steps to download the APTET admit cards 

Step 1: Visit the official website aptet.apcfss.in
Step 2: Locate the 'APTET 2024 July Hall Ticket' link on the website 
Step 3: Enter your login credentials 
Step 4: Your admit card will be displayed on the screen 
Step 5: Download and take a print out of the Admit card 

The exam is scheduled to take place from October 3 to October 20, which was previously scheduled for August 5 to August 20. The exams will be held in two shifts each day, the first shift will take place from 9:30 am to 12 pm while the second shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. The results are expected to be released on November 2, 2024.

According to the revised schedule, the provisional answer key shall be issued on October 4 and the final answer key will be released on October 27. 

The eligibility criteria to pass APTET, applicants need to score minimum 60 percent if they are from open category. For backward class applicants need to achieve 50 percent and for SC, ST, differently abled (PH) and ex servicemen, applicants need to score 40 percent or above.

This test will cover 20 percent of the overall percentage in the recruitment process of teachers in Andhra Pradesh. AP TET is a compulsory requirement for teaching aspirants seeking a teaching position from classes 1 to 8 for government, rural, urban, private or welfare schools across the state. The certificate of AP TET shall be valid till lifetime.
