Applications for the PhD Winter session are being accepted at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) through November 30. On December 22, interested students will have the opportunity to take the PhD Entrance Test (PET). Candidates who have passed national examinations that are comparable to PET are not required to take the PET exam. For full-time researchers, research fellowships are also offered.

Eligibility criteria
- Admission will be determined by an interview and the PhD entrance exam (PET).
- The entrance exam that the university administers for admission to the PhD program will not be required of qualified applicants who have passed the UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, CEED, or other comparable national level exams.
- The UGC also states that admission will be determined on a candidate's NET score.
- The last open PhD positions for the academic year 2024–2025 that are open for admission in the winter
Prior to the PhD entrance exam, they will be informed on the university's website.
