CSIR NET 2024: Students interested in assistant professor, PhD, lectureship, and junior research fellowship are required to take the exam.
The admission cards for the June session of the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024 have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students can access the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in, to download their admission cards.
The exam was originally supposed to start on June 25 and end on June 27, but on June 21 the Agency announced that it had been postponed because of "logistic issues" and unavoidable circumstances. It was anticipated that roughly 2 lakh applicants would take the CSIR-UGC NET.
Students interested in assistant professor, PhD, lectureship, and junior research fellowships take the CSIR NET exam. Computer-based technology will be used to conduct the CSIR NET 2024.
Step 1 is to go to csirnet.nta.nic.in, the official website.
Step 2: Type in your birthdate and application number.
Step 3: The screen will show the CSIR NET admission card.
Step 4: Download and save the admissions card for later use.
The admitted card that was issued is only temporary. It is recommended that applicants provide a paper copy of their admission card in order to take the exam. Exam invigilators will not permit candidates to enter the premises and take the test if they have a soft copy of their admit card exam.
The subjects' CSIR NET dates and shift are also mentioned in the public notification. The Agency is going to examine Earth, atmospheric, oceanic, and planetary sciences; mathematical sciences; and physical sciences on July 25. Mathematical sciences will be taught in shift 2 from 3 to 6 pm, while physical sciences, Earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences will be taught in a single shift from 9 am to noon.
The NTA will administer the biological sciences portion of the CSIR NET two exam on July 26. One of them will take place during shift one from 9 am to noon, and the other will take place during shift two from 3 pm to 6 pm. The testing organisation will administer the chemical sciences exam in one shift on July 27 from 9 am to noon.
