Admissions to Universities May Be Affected by Delayed CUET Results

The results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 are anticipated by around 10 lakh students.

The National Testing Agency had originally planned to disclose the exam results on June 30. However, because of the controversy and anomalies surrounding the NEET UG and UGC-NET, the results were postponed.

It is anticipated that NTA will release the CUET UG 2024 results soon.

The preliminary answer key for the undergraduate admission exam was already made available by the organization. Candidates have until July 9 to object to the answer key that is currently in use.

Candidates who took the exam will be able to view their results on the NTA's official website following the results' release. To view the results, they will need to provide their login information.

The admissions procedure for the upcoming academic year will be delayed as a result of the results' delayed announcement. The CUET UG 2024 results will be accepted by 261 universities in total.

On May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 at 379 locations, the entrance exam for admission to undergraduate courses at Central and other participating universities was administered. This year, the exam was given in a hybrid format by the NTA for the first time.

This year, about 14,90,293 students signed up for the CUET. Approximately 9,68,201 of these students took the exam.

Technical issues beset the exam in its initial administration in 2022. Furthermore, because a subject's exams were administered over several shifts, the scores had to be normalized when the results were announced.

NTA Director General Subodh Singh was fired by the Center over allegations of anomalies in the PhD entrance exam, NET, and the medical entrance exam, NEET.
