Academic calendar for Gujarat Board's 2024-25 session is issued

The academic calendar for both Class 10 and Class 12 for the 2024-25 school year has been issued by the Gandhinagar–based Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). The calendar is available for download by students at gseb.org, the official website of the GSHSEB.

The calendar indicates that the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams will begin on February 27 and end on March 13. Important information like exam dates, the number of holidays and vacation days, and the number of working days are also included in the academic calendar.

Furthermore, the schedule indicates that the first round of tests for students in Classes 9 through 12 would start on October 14 and end on October 23. The dates of the yearly exams for Classes 9 and 11 are set for April 7-April 19.

Date Sheet for Gujarat Board Exam 2025

October is when the datasheet for the SSC and HSC exams offered by the Gujarat Board is expected to be made available. The dates of the yearly board exams are set for February 27 to March 13. Board examinations at the school level, covering both theoretical and practical courses, are scheduled to take place from December 31 to February 4.

The official website states that the Diwali holiday will take place from October 20 to November 17 for a total of 20 days. Furthermore, the summer break will last 35 days, starting on May 5, 2025, and ending on June 8, 2025.

80 holidays will be observed during the academic session, comprising 6 local holidays and 18 public holidays, according to the GSEB notice. Students will have 243 working days in total during the session.
