AAP introduces 'Shiksha Par Baat' , an initiative to involve policymakers and parents for better education policy for the state.

In a transforming initiative, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has announced a new initiative which has been led by senior leader and former education minister Manish Sisodia. It is to involve parents in forming Delhi’s education policy. The programme, is named “Shiksha Par Baat, Manish Sisodia Ke Saath,” goals to collect feedback from parents across Delhi on the city’s education system and discuss the future direction of government schools.

The first session was organized in Patparganj, around 500 parents participated in discussion with the minister. The programme aimed on the strides made in Delhi’s public education under his leadership. It included lessons such as improved government school results, surpassing those of private school for the last seven years.

The parents showed their delight and appreciated the initiatives like modern school infrastructure, enhanced teacher training and free coaching for competitive examinations like NEET, JEE and CUET.

During delivering a personal message to parents, Sisodia focused on his commitment to provide quality education to every child in Delhi. He drew comparison between the opportunities provided to the children of privileged and economically disadvantaged families. He mentioned about the AAP’s effort in building top-notch schools, sending educators for world-class training and also keeping parents updated and informed about Mega PTMs.

The Shiksha Par Baat initiative is curated to motivate a dialogue between policymakers and the community. Working on critical fields like technology, integration, skill development for future. It is to create an inclusive, equitable education system. Future sessions will be held across Delhi constituencies, ensuring every parent has a say in shaping the future of education in the city.

The government has consistently taken initiative to transform the education and schools in past years. It has modified the conditions of the government schools across the state, it has dedicated special coaching class for competitive exams, organized workshops for teachers training and also focusing on mental well being of students and teachers alike. It is committed to change.
