Exam Pattern for CUET 2024

There are three components on the CUET exam:

- Section I (A & B): 40 questions on languages

- 40 questions in Section II: Domain-Specific

- Section III: 50-question General Test

Candidates may choose from all three parts a minimum of three and a maximum of six subjects.

Section-by-Section Planning:

Section I (A & B): Languages: Thirteen languages—Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, Kannada, Gujarati, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, Odia, and English—are available for candidates to choose from in this area.

The candidates' reading comprehension abilities will be evaluated through factual, scholarly, and narrative passages.

Section II: Domain-Specific:

To succeed in subjects that are particular to a given domain, students should focus on mastering the material found in their NCERT textbooks.

Section III: Comprehensive Examination

Candidates are assessed on general knowledge, mental aptitude, numerical aptitude, quantitative reasoning, and logical and analytical reasoning in the general test.
