JENPAS UG

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • The applicant must be domicile of West Bengal.
  • The applicant’s minimum age should be 17.
  • The applicant should have passed Class 12 OR must be appearing in same during the year of the JEMAS entrance exam.
  • The minimum aggregate in PCB/PCMB should be 45% (5% relaxation for reserved category students)
  • Only FEMALE candidates are eligible for admission in Bsc Nursing course in GOVERNMENT colleges.
  • Both Female and Male candidates are eligible for admission in Bsc Nursing course in PRIVATE colleges.
  • In other medical courses, both male and female candidates are eligible.
  • The upper age limit in BMLT, CCT, OTT, PT, PA, MMB, BHA courses is 45
  • The upper age limit in Nursing course is 35.
  • There is no upper age limit in BPT course.

Exam Pattern

 

  • Paper-II is for admission in BHA course only, whereas Paper-I is for other courses.
  • Paper-I consists of a total of 100 questions on the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry ,Biology, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning.
  • Examination Mode: The JENPAS UG exam is administered offline, using pen and paper. Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) make up the majority of the question paper. Candidates must select the appropriate choice from a list of four after each question. The overall amount of questions in the JENPAS UG examination fluctuates every year. There have typically been between 100 and 200 questions on the test in the past.
  • The JENPAS UG test lasts for around two hours.
  • Mental aptitude scoring criteria: There is no deducting points for erroneous responses, and each correct response receives one mark.

Admit Card

  • Admit cards should be in proper condition. Mutilated/soiled/distorted admit cards will not be accepted.
  • Candidate must carry a hard copy of the admit card to the exam center.
  • Downloadable admit card JENPAS(UG) is available on Board’s website
  • Any examination zone may be dropped if there are insufficient candidates or if an unavoidable situation arises. In this situation, a different examination zone will be assigned to the candidate.

Seat Allotment

Based on a candidate's performance in the entrance test and the choices they made during counselling, the Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will provide a recommendation. Here is a summary of the seat allocation procedure:

  • JENPAS UG test Results: The WBJEEB releases the results and publishes the merit list following the administration of the JENPAS UG entrance test. Based on how well each candidate performed on the admission exam, a merit list is created.
  • Candidates who pass the JENPAS Undergraduate Examination must register for the counselling procedure. On the official WBJEEB website, the counselling registration is often completed online.

  • Reporting to Assigned College: Candidates must report to the Assigned College on the designated day to begin their academic session after completing the admissions procedures.
