JENPAS PG

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • As of December 31, 2023, certain courses have an upper age limit. The candidate should check from official notification for the same.
  • Academic criteria:  The candidate is required to have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field from an accredited board or university, Candidates must have obtained at least the minimum score required by WBJEEB (55 percent) . Cut Off

  • Ranks will be provided on the basis of marks scored in the common entrance test.  WBJEEB does NOT publish any rank or score lists for the public to ensure confidentiality. 
  • There is no certain cut-off. Seat allocation, counselling, and admission will be provided on the basis of ranks scored by the candidate only.
  • Tie- Breaking Method for Candidates with Same Merit Rank: Candidates with less incorrect answers will be preferred and ranked higher, if it is still a tie, the older candidate will be considered, if it is still a tie, candidate who applied earlier ( as obtained from application number) will be considered.

Exam Pattern

  • There will be 100 questions on the test. All questions will be in the MCQ format, with four options each, only one of which will be correct. The exam’s time limit is 90 minutes. The questions will be in English only.
  • Exam will be conducted in offline mode, in accordance with the JEPAS PG 2022 pattern.  Candidates receive one mark for each correct response, and a quarter of a mark is subtracted for each incorrect response. No mark will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
  • In 2023, The exam was conducted on 10th June 2023 (Saturday).

Admit Card

  • Admit cards should be in proper condition. Mutilated/soiled/distorted admit cards will not be accepted.
  • The exam location will be Kolkata - Salt Lake/ New Town Zone ONLY.
  • Candidate must carry a hard copy of the admit card to the exam center.
  • As of 2023, Downloadable admit card JEMAS(PG)-2023 is available in Board’s websites: www.wbjeeb.nic.in and www.wbjeeb.in on and from 05.06.2023 to 10.06.2023 (up to 3.30 p.m.)

Seat Allotment

  • Verification of Documents and Admission: After a seat is assigned, candidates must physically attend the designated institute to have their documents verified. To reserve a spot, they must submit the necessary paperwork, pay the entrance charges, and finish the admissions procedure.
  • Reporting to Assigned College: Candidates must report to the Assigned College on the designated day to begin their academic session after completing the admissions procedures.
