About Vivekananda Vidyalaya College of Education

The A.V.A. Mudaliar Educational and Charitable Trust, founded by Thiru. A. SUBRAMANIAM, a dedicated philanthropist and passionate promoter of education, established Vivekananda Vidyalaya in 1990. During his M.Com programme, he began tutoring undergraduate commerce students, a position he had for many years. Thiru. A. SUBRAMANIAM pushed his educational endeavours beyond a small circle, motivated by a desire to raise the standards of the teaching community. He established the B.Ed. degree course at Vivekananda Vidyalaya in 2007. The college began with an intake of 100 students and was recognised by the NCTE in Bangalore and connected with the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University in Chennai. The college's results in the B.Ed. degree course have been noteworthy, demonstrating the institution's dedication and efforts. In later years, the college maintained its affiliation with the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, reiterating its commitment to providing quality education.
