St. Xavier's Institute of Education is an autonomous government aided college offering spectacular education in the field f B.Ed and Ph.D. With the goal of providing high quality education for empowering and enlightening to create a noble society, the institute is situated in the heart of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E.). The curriculum has been carefully designed with all the theoretical and practical concepts required in the field of teaching. Currently the college offers B.Ed and Ph.D programmes along with some certificate programmes. The B.Ed Degree Course offered at St. Xavier's Institute of Education is a two-year programme that blends theory and practical components. The course recognizes the significance of physical fitness, emotional well-being, and the effective use of educational technology. The college has been successfully standing tall for 69 years now and constantly promotes teachers’ education with a strong alumni base.
