St. Paul College of Education is one of the most prestigious institutions located in the heart of Andhra Pradesh. Started in 1945 as an elementary school with only three teachers, it is now a well-established group of 18 institutions providing high-quality education to hundreds of students. The college envisions of imparting knowledge to all the knowledge hungry students as well as those who wish to understand the Christian ales and ethics at a deeper level. The college promotes peace, freedom, brotherhood, love, equality and national integration. Currently, the college offers a B.Ed programme, M.Ed programme and a D.Ed programme. All of these courses are related to the field of education and requires dedicated learning. The admissions are based upon the candidate’s performance in the Bible Test at the time of admission. Preference is given to the Christian minority community The courses are extensively taught to sculpt the future educators in the right shape. The college has a well-educated faculty base with years of experience in the field of education and research. The teachers are known to be in immediate contact with the students whenever required. The curriculum has been carefully designed with all the theoretical and practical concepts required in the field of teaching. It is technically used by the educators to equip the students with relevant information from start to the end. The magnificent campus is spread across 15 acres of ground. It is equipped with separate labs for biological and physical sciences. There is an ICT lab with multiple fully-functioning computer systems, neat and clean classrooms with latest technology to enhance the learning environment, sport facilities and a multipurpose playground. There is a fully-stocked library with reference books, journals, articles, etc. The college also provide safe hostel facilities to the female students with clean and comfortable rooms at the campus. The college offers cultural events, festival celebrations, college fests, activities, and several competitions throughout the year to the students. This allows them to release the academic pressure and take the much needed relax from time to time. They are encouraged to take part in these activities to aid their holistic development.
