Scad College of Education

The college was established in the year 2006 by Dr. S. Cletus Babu, Chairman, and Dr. J.X. Amali Cletus Babu, Vice Chairperson, who are not only dedicated educationists but also passionate about social causes. Their vision was to create an educational institution that would provide quality teacher education in a nurturing and conducive environment. With this aim in mind, they carefully designed the campus to offer modern amenities, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a team of highly qualified faculty members. Our college holds recognition from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore since its inception in 2006. Additionally, we are affiliated with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai since 2008. This affiliation ensures that our institution meets the required standards and regulations set by the education governing bodies, guaranteeing a quality educational experience for our students. At our college, we offer a comprehensive two-year B.Ed degree course, welcoming a maximum of 100 students each year. Our focus is on providing a well-rounded education that prepares future educators to excel in their profession. We believe in the importance of a balanced education that encompasses both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enabling our graduates to effectively engage with students and foster their intellectual growth.
