The course is affiliated to the University of Mysore and is recognized by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE). The college is a men's only residential college. It has successfully produced 3000 teachers highly trained in values education who are contributing as educators in the public and private sectors. The course is extensively taught to sculpt the future educators in the right shape. The college has an excellent faculty base.
