PPG College of Education (Co-Education) in 2005 was established by P.Perichi Gounder Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust (PPG Trust) Coimbatore with the vision of the trust was to provide quality teacher training to the youth of Tamil Nadu. The college was created with the aim of nurturing and developing future educators who would contribute to the growth and development of the nation. The college currently offers B.Ed and M.Ed programs to the aspiring educators. These courses are carefully designed with relevance in latest trends in education sector. The curriculum is designed in a way to incorporate the best practices and methodologies in the field of education, ensuring that students are well-prepared to meet the demands of the profession. The courses aim to provide the academic and practical training to the students. The college has a superb team of educators. The college has state of the art facilities, there are 12 clean and well-ventilated classrooms for B.Ed and M.Ed courses. The campus has a fully-stocked library with over 6000 books; these books include relevant reference books, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, journals, magazines and newspapers as well. The college has a large auditorium with a capacity of approximately 200 people for the organization of events, seminars and workshops. Apart from these, the campus of PPG College of Education has various labs such as Science Laboratory, Computer Laboratory, Psychology Laboratory, Educational Laboratory and Language Laboratory, With the motive of imparting excellent education to the upcoming teachers and to motivate the students towards the research and development for the benefit of the nation, PPG College of Education is righteously one of the most prominent institution for the field of education.
