Lloyd Law College

The Bar Council of India, the statutory organization for professional legal education in India, has approved Lloyd Law College, a prestigious educational institution that has been providing legal education since 2003 in affiliation with CCS University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh (a state university founded in 1965). The legacy of mentorship and support left by Padma Shri Late Prof. (Dr.) N.R. Madhava Menon, known as "The Legend of Law" and the leader of India's legal education reforms, benefited the College significantly. The National Law School of India University, Bangalore, and the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata were founded by Prof. Menon, a pioneer in legal education who also served as the designer and architect of India's five-year integrated B.A.LL.B. program. Due to Prof. Menon's tireless work, Indian legal institutions are now on par with those in industrialized nations thanks to his reform and modernization of the nation's legal education system. To foster excellence in learning, the faculty of Lloyd Law College is enhanced by their expertise, experience, and zeal. The students are nurtured and imbued with a thirst for knowledge rooted in the values of integrity and professionalism by devoted faculties with specializations in Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual property Law, International Law, Environmental Law, etc. and pre-law faculties for subjects like Economics, History, Sociology, English, etc. Our academic, student, and staff communities are warm and welcoming, and we are proud of them.
