In June 1983, the Latthe Education Society's POLYTECHNIC was established by the Directorate of Technical Education, (M.S.) Mumbai, to offer technical education in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering. Operating independently without government grants, the polytechnic began its journey with an annual enrollment of 180 students.
