"Government Polytechnic, Jajpur, Ragadi" is one of the state's most creative Government Polytechnics for offering superior education and skills. This Polytechnic was established in 2014-15 at Ragadi, near the Jajpur-Keonjhor road (on NH-215) and is producing diploma holders in five disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mining & Metallurgy Engineering, with quality infrastructure and contributing to governmental policy objectives such as industrial development and skill competitiveness in global markets. It is extremely close to the Jajpur District's Kalinga Nagar Industrial Area.
Course in "Stainless Steel Welding"
On this 23rd day of July, 2019, Jindal Stainless Foundation and Government Polytechnic, Jajpur inked a Service Agreement ("Agreement") in New Delhi with the goal of training 60 adolescents in Stainless Steel manufacturing at the Ragadi Institute. As a result, four batches of Stainless Steel Fabrication skill training camps were held at the Government Polytechnic in Jajpur. Jindal Stainless, India's largest stainless steel company, supported the training programme in partnership with the Govt. Polytechnic Jajpur.
The Training's Objectives: 60 teenagers will be trained in Stainless Steel Fabrication in three groups over the course of one academic year. To instill entrepreneurship skills in young people so that they can work for themselves. To encourage the institute's trainees to move overseas as highly competent workers.
Goal: Community change, and they will offer their community involvement strength.
Scope: Provide high-end training on "Stainless Steel Welding" to poor meritorious students of the Government Polytechnic, Jajpur, Ragadi pursuing Diploma Courses in Mechanical/ Electrical Branch (Final Year) in order to improve their technical skills and enable them to join various steel plants/organizations after graduation.
