The Secondary Training courses offered by the Cholan College of Education, which include B.Ed. - II Years and M.Ed. - II Years, have been approved by the Department of Higher Education, State Government of Tamil Nadu in its Order G.O.Ms No. 338 Higher Education (E1) Dept. dated 23-09-2005 and are recognized by the SRC-NCTE in Gazette of India, Part III. As a result of this recognition and approval, the college has become affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Teacher Education University.
