Since it was founded, CIFE has focused on high-quality education and helped approximately 4000 state fisheries extension and development staff members build their professional abilities and skills. Today, CIFE is a renowned centre for higher fisheries education and a knowledge powerhouse.
From a small start in 1961, CIFE today stands on a brand-new campus with advanced facilities, establishing the foundation for an exciting future. CIFE is committed to innovation and the adoption of the latest techniques in educational and research programmes as a top university. Its goal is to prepare students to take on leadership roles in their specialised fields.
As a result of the environment of quality in teaching and research that CIFE has built, it is an attractive option for students who want to excel in fisheries education.
