Indian Institute of Technology:

In order to take admission in B. Tech Civil Engineering program in IITs, a candidate must pass Joint Entrance Test (JEE) Main, conducted by National Test Agency (NTA) followed by JEE- Advanced conducted by any respective IIT. If the candidate clears the cut off for Civil Engineering in any IIT, he/she has to apply for the counselling process, conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), which is responsible for the allocation of seats in the IITs.

 

National Institute of Technology:

To take admission in the B. Tech Civil Engineering program in NITs, a candidate must pass the Joint Entrance Test (JEE) Main and has to get enough marks to clear the cut-off for Civil Engineering. Then he/she has to apply for a counseling process, conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), which is responsible for the allocation of seats in the NITs.

 

Private colleges:

Admission to B.Tech in Civil Engineering in private colleges, being relatively easier, is conducted through various entrance examinations such as JEE Main, BITSAT, or state-level entrance examinations.
