The Directorate of Education (DoE) of the Delhi Government has now prohibited the use of mobile phones in the premises of school. It includes, classrooms, libraries, playgrounds and across. It is applicable for both students and teachers.

In a circular released on Tuesday, October 22, the DoE stated, Teachers and staff are prohibited from using mobile phones during teaching and learning activities in classrooms, laboratories, and libraries, including during arrangement periods."
It has further directed the teachers to utilise the tools, make use of smart boards, projectors and K-Yan devices which are available in schools.
