The Ministry of Education has extended the registration window for Yuva Sangam Phase 5 today. As per the official notice, the deadline has now been extended till October 25,2024. The registration link and detailed information can be availed at the official website- ebsb.aicte-india.org.

The decision to extend comes to accommodate all intending applicants, who wish to explore this opportunity. Ministry of Education revealed, when the previous deadline was approaching, the registration portal observed a massive spike in visitors. And therefore, the decision was taken to extend the deadline. The extension offers an opportunity to students/youth/professionals, to avail the rare change to be representative of their state/union territory.

The young professions like employed, self-employed and students which also include NSS/NYKS volunteers, both on-campus and off-campus can apply for the life changing experience. It will provide them multi-dimensional exposure in five aspects; 5Ps which are, Paryatan (Tourism), Parampara (Traditions), Pragati (Development), Paraspar Sampark (People-to-people connect), and Prodyogiki (Technology).

According to the Ministry of Education, prominent institutions across nation have been identified for Phase V of Yuva Sangam. During this time the participants form states/UTs, led by the nodal of Higher Education institute (HEI) of states and UT will be visiting their paired state.

The cultural exchange programme by the Ministry of Education , is initiated under Ek Bharat Shreshta Bharat. It facilitates engagement and collaboration among youth in the age group of 18 to 30 years across the nation. The programme is now in its fifth phase, it facilitates cross-cultural learnings and interaction for around 4,795 youth across India through 114 tours.

It is an initiative by Government of India to strengthen people to people connect especially between youth belonging to North Eastern India and other States. Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Yuva Sangam (युवा संगम) will focus on conducting exposure tours of youth between the 8 North Eastern States and other States. It will provide an immersive experience of various facets of life, development landmarks, recent achievements and youth connect in the host state.
