WBJEE Counseling 2024: Registration and Choice-Filling Commences Today
Candidates who have qualified for WBJEE 2024 can now apply for BTech and BArch courses on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is set to begin the counseling process for WBJEE 2024 candidates today, July 10. Qualified candidates can register and fill in their choices by visiting the official website — wbjeeb.nic.in.
The deadline to apply for the WBJEE 2024 counseling process is July 16. This counseling process is essential for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, and architecture in various colleges, institutions, and universities across West Bengal. The process includes registration, choice-filling, seat allotment results, payment of acceptance fees, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college.
Registration
a) Candidates need to provide necessary personal details, academic details, bank account details (in case of any refund), address, etc.
b) Candidates must provide their application number/roll number and the following academic information:
- Passing status, total marks, and obtained marks in English of Class 10 Standard.
- Passing status, overall full marks, and obtained total marks in Class 12 Standard.
- Passing status, total marks, and obtained marks in Class 12.
c) Candidates should ensure accuracy while entering information during the registration process, as changes or corrections are not possible after submission.
Choice Filling
a) After providing academic scores and paying registration fees, candidates can view all eligible institutes and courses based on the inputs provided.
b) Candidates can arrange their choices in order of priority.
c) If no choices are given, no allotment will be made.
d) Choices are displayed in alphabetical order for easy search, with options to search by institute and branch.
Choice Locking
a) Candidates must lock their choices within the pre-announced date (schedule to be provided later). A printout of locked choices can be taken.
b) If a candidate fails to lock choices within the deadline, the last saved choices will be considered final and locked automatically after the scheduled date and time.
