The University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) has released admit cards for four centres for June Re-exam. The examination was cancelled at four centres. The centres are following:
Dr Ghanshyam College of Education located in Varanasi
Shakra Group of Institution situated in Jaipur
Amatyas Global IT solution in Jamnagar
Jainee College of engineering and technology in Dindgul
The exam was cancelled either due to a technical error or flooding. The candidates who are appearing for the examination can download their admit card from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
According to the latest information, the admit cards for the re-examination that are scheduled from August 21 to September 4 ,2024. The re-examination will cover around 83 subjects, across various centres. Initially it was scheduled on June 18,2024 however was cancelled on June 19 , now the rescheduled exam is scheduled on September 4, 2024 in shift II from 3:00PM to 6:00PM
The UGC NET is held twice a year, in online mode. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. It consists of two papers: Paper 1, which is worth 100 marks and includes 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and paper 2, which is around 200 marks and includes 100 MCQs. The correct answer gets the candidate 2 marks however there is no negative marking for the incorrect answer.
The entrance examination is conducted for the position of Assistant Professor and Junior Research fellowship and assistant professor applicable in Indian colleges and universities.
The admit cards for June re-exam have been released on the official website, it was cancelled due to technical issues and flooding at the four centres. The exam is scheduled for September 4,2024. Students are advised to carry the copy of their admit card to the centre. For latest update candidates are advised to check the official website for latest updates.
