TSPSC Announces Group 2 written exam dates

The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has released the dates for the written examination against the group 2 services (general recruitment) notification. Two shifts will be held for examinations on December 15 and 16.

One week before to the start of the tests, the TSPSC will make the group 2 written exam hall passes available. The TSPSC group 2 written test hall tickets can be accessed and downloaded on the official website, tspsc.gov.in.

The candidates who meet the requirements for the available vacancies in terms of community and category will be contacted for the verification of their certificates, in order of merit, after passing the written exam. In order to be considered for selection, candidates from OC, sports, males, and EWS must have at least 40% of the qualifying marks; for BCs, it must be at least 35%; and for SCs, STs, and PH, it must be at least 30%.

The first exam, Paper- 1: General Studies and General Abilities, is scheduled for December 15 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. And in Afternoon shift, on the same day, Paper- 2: History, Polity and Society will be conducted from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The next day, December 16, the exam for Paper- 3: Economy and Development will be scheduled for the morning shift, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Later in that day, Paper- 4: Telangana Movement and State Formation will take place in the afternoon shift, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

It is required that students should appear in all the written examinations. If a student does not appear in any of the examinations, his/her candidacy would be disqualified, the TSPSC said.
