In an interesting and proud moment, three schools from India have bagged the award for the title of “World’s Best School” Price for 2024. The schools are, Ryan International School situated in Delhi, Vasant Kunj, CM RISE School Vinoba in Madhya Pradesh and Kalvi International Public School in Tamil Nadu, all receiving position in different prize categories.
The schools have earned this achievement for its unique approach to education, creativity, innovation and community engagement.
While Delhi’s Ryan International School received prize for world’s Best School Prize for environmental Action. It is known for its green and sustainable initiaves like hydroponics and biogas plants, the school has been proactive in addressing issues like water scarcity and pollution. The school has reviewed $10,000 prize money with which the school plans to expand its green projects and even establish a start-up incubator to encourage student-led environmental initiatives.
"We are immensely thrilled that our Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj, has been crowned as the World Champion for Environmental Action in 2024,” shared Grace Pinto, Managing Director.
He further added "We thank our Lord Jesus Christ for this great honour and are grateful to T4 Education for recognising our efforts,”.
Moving ahead, Madhya Pradesh’s CM RISE School Vinoba bagged the title in the innovation category. The school was originally established for tribal girls in an urban slum, now the school has risen into a full-fledged kindergarten-to-secondary school. Its mission focuses on empowering marginalised communities through progressive education, making it a standout in the competition.
And Kalvi International Public School in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, emerged victorious, chosen from being shortlisted in 50 schools. This recognition highlights Kalvi’s commitment to community engagement, uplifting local communities via targeted educational initiatives.
The schools look forward to achieve further milestones. As a nation, India’s three-pronged victory has underscored the country’s global standing in progressive education.
