As part of the Sampark program, the Haryana government has announced intentions to install smart classrooms in an extra 1,000 government primary schools in the 2024-2025 school year. Chief Secretary T V S N Prasad told all state deputy commissioners of this during a meeting he presided on Friday, according to an official statement.
According to the statement, more than 6,600 primary schools in Haryana already have smart classrooms, and this expansion intends to further incorporate cutting-edge instructional tools into the state's primary education system.
During the video conference meeting, Prasad showed his enthusiasm for the effort and emphasised Haryana's dedication to improving basic learning.
He emphasised that the adoption of smart classrooms is a big step in the right direction toward giving kids a better educational experience.
Along with emphasising the joint efforts with the Sampark Foundation to create an inclusive and cutting-edge educational system, he also gave all deputy commissioners instructions to supervise the efficient execution of the Sampark program in their individual districts.
According to the release, Dr. K Rajeswara Rao, President of the Sampark Foundation, emphasised that the Foundation, a renowned NGO committed to enhancing primary education and learning outcomes, presently serves 1.25 lakh government schools in eight Indian states.
According to him, the Foundation incorporates Sampark Smart Shala methodology within the state education system in partnership with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).
According to Vineet Garg, Additional Chief Secretary, School Education, the use of smart classrooms has already resulted in a 35-40 percent rise in learning outcomes and micro competences among primary school pupils.
He emphasised the importance that the Sampark Foundation plays in giving educators in-depth training so they can use modern technology with efficiency.
He went on to say that district education officers and block education officers have set up dashboards at the district level to track progress.
