Students studying management at BHU excel with top offers

Students at Banaras Hindu University's Institute of Management Studies secured top positions at prestigious corporations, with the highest offer being Rs 23.5 LPA, during an amazing placement season.

Students at Banaras Hindu University's Institute of Management Studies secured prominent positions in leading corporations, including the highest offer of Rs 23.5 LPA, after an incredible placement season. Reputably regarded as one of the best B-Schools in the nation, the institute witnessed an astounding average offer package of 11.1 lakhs out of 181 that 165 students accepted. The placement coordinator, Dr. Ashutosh Mohan, highlighted the accomplishments of students enrolled in the MBA, MBA International Business, and MBA Agribusiness programs.

Participating in the recruitment drive were around 65 organisations, such as Adani Wilmar, Cognisant, Infosys, and Mahindra Finance. According to Professor H P Mathur, Dean & Head, Chairman Corporate Affairs & Placement, 36 percent of students were offered positions as Executive/Management Trainees, 21 percent as Associate/Senior Consultants, and 13 percent as Assistant/Deputy Managers.

IT companies like Genpact, Infosys, and Cognisant provided a wide range of analytics and consulting positions. Opportunities in marketing, finance, operations, and human resources were offered by BFSI sector companies such as South Indian Bank, Bandhan Bank, and ICICI Pru AMC. Many MBA (Agribusiness) students were recruited by DCM Shriram Farm Solutions and other firms; some of these students were offered pre-placement offers.

While Professor Ashish Bajpai, Director at FMS-BHU, emphasised the responsibility of teachers in preparing "business-ready" graduates, Dean Professor Mathur commended the student placement coordination team for their efforts. Through programs like personality development, corporate engagements, and mock interviews, the institute continues to focus on developing professionals who are ready for the workforce and making sure students are well-prepared for successful careers.
