SSC GD Exam 2025: Important guidelines for Constable exam

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published a notification on its website, ssc.gov.in, advising aspirants of the Constable (General Duty) examination to submit their application forms at the earliest, without waiting till the last date.

The application period is now open and ends on October 14, 2024, for the positions of Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau Examination-2025.

"In order to prevent any potential rush due to heavy traffic on the website during the closing days, it is hereby reiterated in the interest of the candidates for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 that they should submit their Online Application Form well in advance of the closing date, which is October 14, 2024.

A recruiting exam is scheduled for 39,481 positions.- BSF: 15654 open positions 7145 vacancies in CISF CRPF: 1,541 open positions SSB: 819 positions available ITBP: 3017 positions AR: 1248 open positions SSF: 35 positions available NCB: 22 openings Applying for these positions is open to anyone who, on or before January 1, 2025, passed the Class 10 or Matriculation exam. 

On the deadline date, they must be between the ages of 18 and 23. A computer-based exam, a physical efficiency test (PET), a physical standard test (PST), a medical examination, and document verification are all part of the selection process. One objective-style paper with 80 questions worth two marks each will make up the CBE. The exam will last for sixty minutes. 

English, Hindi, and thirteen regional languages—Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu—will be used for the computer-based exam. There is a ₹100 application fee for the test. Women, SC, ST candidates, and ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are excluded from paying the application cost.
