Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam date, which is November 18, 2024. Applicants can check the circular by visiting the official website at ssc.gov.in
According to the official circular “The Commission has decided to conduct the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2024 (Tier-II) on November 18, 2024. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates.”
Candidates who cleared the Tier 1exam are qualified for Tier 2 exam. Around 39,835 candidates have qualified for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) posts while around 1,630 candidates have qualified for the Data Entry Officer (SEO)/DEO Grade ‘A’ posts. The Tier 1 result was declared on September 6, 2024. The Tier I exam was conducted in a computer-based test mode aimed to fill approximately 3,712 vacancies across various departments. At several test locations across the nation, the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam for the year 2024 was successfully held on July 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11.
The admit cards for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam is expected to be released in the first week of November, an exact date is still not released. The Tier 2 exam will be conducted in two sessions in a single day, Candidates to please note that there will be negative marking for every incorrect answer while each question will carry 3 marks.
The minimum qualifying marks for the Tier I exam was for General (UR) candidates is 30 percent whereas, for OBC/EWS is 25 percent and 20 percent for other remaining categories including ST, SC and PwD.
