The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the answer keys for SSC CGL Tier 1 examination soon. Candidates can download the answer keys and response sheets through the official website at ssc.nic.in once released.

Steps to download SSC CGL TIER 1 answer key 

Step 1: Visit the official website of your region
Step 2: Locate the highlighted link visible on the homepage
Step 3: Select the ‘Combined Graduate Level Tier 1 Examination Answer key’
Step 4: Enter your Login credentials
Step 5: Download your SSC CGL Tier 1 answer key
Step 6: Save the answer key for future reference 

Candidates will have the opportunity to raise objections on the answer key which will be reviewed by the SSC before they release the final answer key. Candidates wishing to challenge the answer key can do so by visiting the website and paying the requisite fee. Candidates who pass the SSC CGL Tier 1 will proceed to the Tier 2 exam, which is the next crucial stage.

The exam was held from September 9 to September 26, 2024 and the exam was conducted in four shifts. The recruitment drive aims to fill 17,727 vacancies at various department under the central government.

The exam comprised four sections, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. The exam was a multiple-choice format, with questions both English and Hindi except English comprehension section, which was offered in English and there was negative marking of 0.50 marks for every incorrect answer.
