The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the extension of the application process for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) recruitment. The deadline of the undergraduate posts has been extended to October 27, which was previously scheduled till October 13 while for graduate posts the deadline remains the same.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 11,558 vacancies for graduate and undergraduate posts. Around 8,113 posts are assigned for graduate posts and 3,445 for undergraduate posts.
The examination will be held in two stages in computer based format followed by computer based aptitude test and Typing skill test. The deadline for fee payment of the recruitment has been set on October 29, 2024. The correction window will be opened from October 30 till November 6, 2024.
The examination time for PwD candidates who use a scribe is 2 hours. Additionally, all eligible candidates will receive their call letters and details through email on their registered mobile number. Candidates note that no hard copies of call letters will be sent to anyone.
The recruitment drive offers vacancies for undergraduate and graduate posts. Undergraduate posts include Commercial cum Ticket clerk, Accounts Clerk cum to typist, Junior Clerk cum typist and Trains Clerk. Graduate vacancy comprises Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, Station master, Goods train manager and Junior Assistant Cum typist position.
To qualify for RRB NTPC 2024 examination, candidates must meet the educational qualifications specified for each post.
