The Karnataka Board 2nd PUC exam 3 result was released by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) on July 16. Students can visit the official KSEAB website, kseab.karnataka.gov.in, to view their exam results.
Out of the 76,005 students that registered in total, 75,466 showed up, and 17,911 of them (or 23.73 percent) passed the PUC II exam this year. There were 31,439 girls and 44,027 boys among the enrolled students. In all, 9,531 (21.65 percent) males and 8,380 (26.65 percent) girls passed the exam, indicating that girls outperformed boys.
For improvement, 4464 students showed up this time.
30,489 students took the tests in the Arts stream, and 6,618 of them passed, giving the stream a pass percentage of 21.71 percent. There were 25,264 students in the Commerce stream, and 5,958 of them passed, meaning that the pass percentage was 23.58 percent. There were 19,713 students in the Science stream, and 5,335 of them passed, yielding a pass percentage of 27.06 percent.
Answer scripts can be downloaded from July 18 to July 22 or requested in scanned copy from July 17 to July 21. After that, from July 18 to 24, students (those who have applied for scan copies only) may apply for revaluation and re-totalling. According to the "Karnataka Pre-University course S L P E 1997, 29 (A)", revaluation marks will be tallied with exam scores.
