On August 24, 2024, the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee will open registration for GATE 2025. On that date, interested candidates can click the registration link at gate2025.iitr.ac.in, the official GATE website.
The official website states that normal online registrations and applications must be submitted by September 26, 2024, to avoid late fees. October 7, 2024, is the entry deadline subject to a late payment.
The dates of the GATE 2025 examinations are February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. There will be two sessions a day: afternoon and forenoon. There will be thirty test papers and it will be given as a computer-based test (CBT). Only English will be used for the exam.
Candidates who meet the requirements can apply online by doing the following:
- Go to gate2025.iitr.ac.in, the official IIT GATE website.
- Select the registration link for GATE 2025 from the homepage.
- You'll need to register yourself on a new page that opens.
- Access your account by logging in after registering.
- Fill out the application and send in the required payment.
- After completing the application page, click the submit button to download it.
- Print a paper copy to keep on file.
Candidates must be in their third year or above in any undergraduate program, or they must have finished a government-approved degree program in an eligible subject, such as engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, the arts, or humanities, to be eligible for GATE 2025.
To apply for admission to Master's programs and direct Doctoral programs in pertinent subjects, candidates who meet the GATE qualifying requirements may do so. Financial aid may be available.
