Registration for CAT 2024 Application ends Today

Today, September 20, is the last day to apply for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. Candidates who haven't applied yet can do so at iimcat.ac.in for postgraduate management program admission.

This year's organizer of CAT is the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta). The date of CAT 2024 is set for November 24. There will be CAT 2024 in about 170 cities. CAT 2024 application forms will allow candidates to select from five preferred cities. A brief editing window will be made available to registered applicants following the registration window's closure on September 20. The application form will allow candidates to modify their signature, photo, and test city options, if necessary.

CAT 2024: Eligibility
- The student must hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% or a comparable CGPA.
- PwD, SC, and ST students are required to have completed their bachelor's degree with at least a 45% grade point average.
- A candidate must have at least finished a professional degree (CA, CS, ICWA, or Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI)) with the necessary percentage if they do not have a bachelor's degree.

CAT 2024: Exam schedule
The exam will last for one hour and twenty minutes. The test will have the following three sections:
Section I: Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability
Section II: Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation
Section III: Quantitative Ability

To prevent any last-minute discrepancies, candidates are requested to finish the application process before time. A short window of time will be provided for applicants to make necessary changes to their applications once the registration window closes. For candidates hoping to enroll in postgraduate management programs at India's best business institutions, CAT 2024 is still a necessary step. Prior to the exam, which is set for November 24, 2024, applicants should confirm that they meet all qualifying requirements.
