The examination will comprise of 200 questions, worth 200 marks to be completed within the timeframe of 120 minutes. The paper will be bilingual, offered in both English and Hindi, except for the English language section.
Candidates who proceed to the mains exam, will comprise three papers: Economics and Social Issues, English Written Skills and General Finance and Management. This test will evaluate candidate’s knowledge and skills, with the total marks of 300 marks.
Candidates must secure the minimum required marks in each test to be eligible for Phase II, based on their total marks in Phase I. There will be deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
