How to apply for PM Internship Scheme

Step 1: Visit the official website at pminternship.mca.gov.in

Step 2: Register yourself, by providing the necessary details for creating an account

Step 3: Log in the account and complete the application form

Step 4: Upload the important documents and pay the application fee

Step 5: Review and submit the form

Step 6: Download the form for future reference

The platform is now available for partner employers to register for internships, not for youngsters. The program seeks to solve youth unemployment by giving students access to internship opportunities. Over the next five years, the PM hopes to offer internships to one crore young people through this program.

Around 193 companies including Maruti Suzuki India, Muthoot Finance, Foodworks and Reliance Industries have posted internship opportunities on this platform

To be eligible for this scheme, the candidates need to pass the higher secondary education, an ITI certificate, a Polytechnic Institute diploma, or a degree such as a BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, or BPharma. The age limit should is 21 and not more than 24. Candidates must be Indian and not be enrolled in full-time courses or employment. If a candidate is enrolled in an online or distance learning course, they are eligible to apply.

Each intern will receive 500 rupees from the corporation from its CSR money, with the government contributing 4,500 rupees. In addition to the monthly stipend, applicants will get a one-time cash support of Rs 6,000 to cover incidental expenses.

A resume will be prepared automatically based on the information given by the candidate, and students can apply to a minimum of five possibilities depending on their preferences.
