NTA to release UGC NET results shortly

National Testing Agency will release the UGC NET result shortly on the official website at the official website of NTA at ugcnet.ac.in.

National Testing Agency will release the UGC NET result shortly on the official website at the official website of NTA at ugcnet.ac.in. NTA has released the UGC NET JUNE 2024 final answer keys for the exam dates from August 21 to September 4, 2024.

Candidates appeared for these examinations in between these dates mentioned above will be able to check the final answer keys key through the official website at ugcnet.ac.in Candidates were allowed to raise objections on provisional answer key by paying a fee of Rs 200. Previously NTA released the provisional answer keys in September and the final date to raise the objection was September14.

 

How to download the result? 

Step 1: Visit the official website at ugcnet.ac.in

Step 2: Locate the link on the homepage 

Step 3:  Enter your login credentials 

Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Save the result for future reference

 

Normalisation for multi shift paper

  1. Raw marks secured by candidates across different shifts shall be converted to percentile based NTA scores.
  2. For comprehensive details on NTA score normalisation, candidates can refer to the NTA official website
  3. For multi shift subject papers, NTA scores are calculated from raw marks and then combined across shifts/sessions for allocation decisions.
  4. In case of differing percentiles across shifts, the lowest percentile determines eligibility for all candidates.

The UGC NET is held twice a year, in online mode. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. It consists of two papers: Paper 1, which is worth 100 marks and includes 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and paper 2, which is around 200 marks and includes 100 MCQs. The correct answer gets the candidate 2 marks however there is no negative marking for the incorrect answer.
