The NEET (UG) 2024, conducted by the NTA, took place at 4,750 centers across 571 cities (including 14 international cities) and had over 24 lakh participants. The results were initially declared on June 4, 2024.

Following grievances about the compensatory marks awarded, a high-power committee was established to investigate. Based on the committee's recommendations, the NTA decided to conduct a re-examination for the affected 1,563 candidates who experienced time loss during the original exam on May 5, 2024.

Details of the re-exam are as follows:

- Exam Name: NEET (UG) 2024 re-examination

- Date: June 23, 2024 (Sunday)

- Time: 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM

- Result Date: June 30, 2024

Admit cards for the re-exam will be issued soon, and updated scorecards will be available on the NTA website.

The re-examination is only for the 1,563 candidates whose previous scorecards, issued on June 4, 2024, will be canceled. These candidates will receive their true scores via email. If they opt out of the re-exam, their results will be based on their original scores from May 5, 2024, without compensation. Those who take the re-test will have their new scores considered, replacing the May 5, 2024 scores.

For any issues with downloading the admit card, candidates can contact 011-40759000 or 011-69227700, or email neet@nta.ac.in. Regular updates will be available on the NTA websites: www.nta.ac.in and https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
