NEET UG 2024 announced: Every category's NEET cut-off increases

The NEET UG 2024 cut-off was revealed, and all categories showed increases over the previous year. The rise in NEET UG cut-off scores is a sign of heightened competition and improved applicant performance.

On June 4, 2024, the National Testing Agency, or NTA, released the NEET UG 2024 Results. Exams.nta.ac.in/NEET is the official website of the NTA NEET, where all applicants who took the National Eligibility and Entrance Test for undergraduate degrees can access their results. You may also see the NTA NEET UG results at neet.ntaonline.in.

The cutoff for applicants in the general and general-PH categories is 720-164 this year, which is an increase from 720-137 the year before. 9,96,393 male candidates, 13,31,321 female candidates, and 17 transgender candidates took the exam, according to NTA data. While 96.94 percent of candidates were present overall, 96.92 percent of male candidates, 96.96 percent of female candidates, and 94.44 percent of transgender candidates were present.

1 lakh spots are up for grabs across numerous medical colleges this year, open to all applicants. 23 hopefuls competed for each seat out of the 23 lakh participants in the examination program.

To pass this exam and be admitted to these medical institutes, students who wish to continue their education must study hard and receive good scores. The institute's seating capacity also takes reservations for different categories into account. There will be seats available for each competitor.
