NEET PG Counselling Schedule to be out soon

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) is expected to declare the NEET PG 2024 round 1 counseling schedule soon. Candidates applying for the postgraduate programs shall check the counseling dates on the official website once available.

The round 1 registration started from September 20 but the schedule has not been released till yet. The counseling involves various steps, including online registration, application fee, choice filling, locking choices, seat allotment results and physical reporting at the college. Interested candidates can participate in this process by registering themselves on the official website of MCC at mcc.gov.in

Steps to register for NEET PG counseling

1. Online registration- To register for NEET PG counseling, candidates must enter their email ID and mobile number to complete the application form and submit it.

2. Choice declaration- Further, candidates shall select the colleges as per their course and preferences.

3. Locking choices- Once the choices are selected, save them after reviewing and lock the choices before the deadline. Once the deadline has passed, no candidate will be allowed to change their choices.

4.  Automatic locking- The system will automatically lock the last final modification that was done in the choices before the deadline.

The NEET PG 2024 exam was conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in 170 cities on August 11 and the results were declared on August 23, 2024. The counseling process will have four rounds including AIQ stray vacancy round.

A candidate will be allowed to fill the application or register for NEET PG once, if a candidate is found submitting more than one application, he/she shall be debarred from NEET PG counseling process and their candidature shall be canceled as well, further action shall be done by the concerned authorities.
